I’m a Guelph-based Graphic Designer specializing in marketing and advertising materials utilizing the creative process from concept to creation in both digital and print formats.
I place a high importance on delivering on-target products by applying strategic thinking to determine the best design solutions to meet your needs and objectives. If you’re looking for a versatile graphic designer with passion, creativity, and an understanding of balancing artistry with audience appeal, you’ve come to the right place.
My journey to become a graphic designer started in 2016 when I enrolled in the Graphic Design Advanced Diploma program at Humber College. Prior to this I spent a year at Sheridan College to hone my studio skills while investigating a new career direction in the arts. It was here that I had my first exposure to design and experienced an epiphany. Design resonated with me more than my many years immersed in the fine arts! I learned that I love fine arts but my passion is design.
I apply this passion to my volunteer role at the Yorklands Green Hub, a non-profit organization in Guelph where I design promotional materials and maintain their website. I really enjoy the work I do because it gives me the opportunity to apply my design and marketing skills for the purpose of social good.
In my work at the Guelph Chamber of Commerce I maintained their brand and sub-brands to meet the needs of those responsible for marketing, events, membership, and internal documentation. It was in this role that I established my enthusiasm for marketing and advertising design.
I am a Junior Affiliate member of the Association of Registered Graphic Designers (RGD) which allows me to continue learning (a designer never stops) and connect with other creatives. When I’m not in front of my computer or sketchbook, I enjoy spending time with my family, being outdoors biking, gardening, and walking my mini poodle, as well as listening to my favourite podcasts.
Now that you know a little about me, I want to know about you. Get in touch!
